April Stainback
Upper Moreland School Board Director
About April
April has been a resident of Upper Moreland since 1996. She and her husband Jeff have five children. All have attended (or are attending) Upper Moreland schools. Three have graduated, one is a junior and the youngest is in second grade. April has been volunteering in the schools and community, in a variety of roles, for nearly 20 years.
April is running for re-election because she wants to continue to work toward making the school district the best it can be. She believes all children deserve a quality education and that does not just happen in the classroom but also during extracurricular activities- athletics, music, the arts. She plans to continue to find balance between education and fiscal responsibility. She also knows that communication with all stakeholders is very important.
There are challenges being on the school board and she has faced those over the last three years with dignity, patience, and respect. Her rich history and involvement in the Upper Moreland schools and the community have been and continue to be an asset.
